Any tile with one edge 15 inches or longer, up to 48 by 110 inch gauged porcelain panels. They create seamless, gallery-like surfaces with minimal grout lines.
Do large-format tiles need a special substrate?+
Yes. The substrate must be flat to 1/8 inch over 10 feet. We use mechanical leveling and large-format mortar to hold lippage under 0.5mm.
Can large slabs be used in showers?+
Absolutely, large slabs are ideal for shower and feature walls, dramatically reducing grout joints in wet areas.
